Designing a transmission line with structures and foundations for a Florida sugar mill under an extremely tight timeline, with construction dates already fast approaching when Groundline was engaged.
Florida Utility Service needed a complete, construction-ready design package, covering line design, structures, and foundations, in time for a contractor to be procured and materials ordered ahead of fixed construction start dates. The timeline left little margin, and any delay to design delivery would have had direct consequences for the construction programme.
Groundline delivered a full construction package including pole general arrangement drawings, structural analysis, and foundation drawings within six weeks of receiving confirmed inputs from the client.
Working to the constraints of the project timeline, Groundline mobilised quickly and produced all required design deliverables within the agreed six-week window, giving Florida Utility Service everything needed to proceed with contractor procurement and material ordering without delay.
Florida Utility Service remained on track to meet their construction delivery timeframes, with a complete, procurement-ready design package delivered within the available window.
